2.5 years ago, I was brooding over the the indication column for an overseas education on my scholarship application form.
2.5 years later, I finally appreciate the fact that I had left that column blank, incidentally.
I was randomly chatting over lunch with a friend who's an EMS scholar. She had just returned from Australia upon finishing her honours. Like me, we all have to live out our bond.
If I had opted for an overseas scholarship (I'm not saying that I'll be able to get it for sure), I would be bonded for 6 years.
Freedom means so much to **. 6 years could be short to some while not others. It's all about perspectives.
Now that the future is painted a clearer picture more than before, a blessing in disguise is the perfect saying for it. :)
