Feelings is not equivocal to Love, are you really in love?
It just suddenly stroke me that many a times and also many couples out there stick together with each other out of feelings and not love. You feel so accustomed to someone's presence and for everything he or she had done for you; the care and concern, the tenderness, the sacrifices, the effort etc. Some day, you might meet someone else who is your true soul mate. However, conscious of the other someone who has been by your side all these years and patiently waiting for you at home and constantly missing you, you never allow yourself to cross the border. In whose hand does the power in a relationship lies?
Now, was it the responsibility to stay faithful in the relationship that kept you aback or was it your delusion that the first to appear will be your true soul mate that kept the relationship intact?
We can have more than one soul mate in our lives. Some people meet just one while others struggle with the two or even three that they meet. Yet, if you term the someone as your soul mate, shouldn't he or she be the unique one and only one, equivocal to the term "the best"?
Perhaps most relationships start out with love blossoming. But like flowers, love withers away when constantly troubled with conflicts or even under-maintenance. Gradually, all that is left is the roots which I term as feelings and responsibilities. Will YOU ever allow that to happen?
