It irks me when I feel that someone is doing something for the sake of doing it. It reflects a total lack of sincerity!
If that offer had come 3.5 years ago, I would have been exceptionally touched by it. Nonetheless, having MOE fed me for the past 3.5 years with more than $500 a month and me earning my own income, your offer to feed me for a month would be redundant.
The typical offer of $200 a month? You would be unable to provide me with the bare minimum of $500 yet if you ask me to settle for $200 a month, I would be better off not even getting a single cent.
I can only say, your offer came way too late to change things and make amendments.
